Chicken Slouvaki

1 tsp minced onion
2 cloves garlic minced
6 Tbsp olive oil
6 Tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp oregano
2-3 lb chicken

Put in bag and marinate over night. Soak sticks in water. (I think this prevents them from burning.) Skewer. Cook on grill or Broil to an internal temperature of 165 degrees- about 3-4 minutes.

Greek Potatoes

8 lg potatoes peeled and cut
4 cloves garlic minced
1/2 c olive oil
1 c water
1 Tbsp oregano (mediterranean)
1-1/2 juices of lemon

Preheat to 440 degrees. Salt and pepper generously. Put in baking pan and bake 40 minutes. Stir if golden crust. If water dries add 1/2 c water and bake another 20-40 minutes.
